Meet Our 2025 Speakers

Tyra Holt Cycholl
Tyra Holt Cycholl, graduated from FCHS in 1993. While at Fairfield, she was a three-time letter winner in volleyball and track . She won the 400 meter dash at the state meet in 1991 and 1992; she also anchored the winning distance medley relay in 1992. She placed second in the long jump that year as well and scored points in the 200 for the Lady Mules to capture 5th place at state. After graduation, Tyra attended Stanford University and was a member of the Track team and was captain her junior and senior years. While at Stanford, she ran the 200, 400, and multiple sprint relays. Additionally, she long jumped and was the first woman pole vaulter to ever hit the mat at Stanford.
In 1995 Tyra set the American Record in the pole vault. She was also a two-time All-American in the distance medley relay, racing her signature event, the 400-meter dash. She was a four-time qualifier for the Pac-10 meet in the long jump, 400-meterdash, and numerous relays. However, Tyra’s true success came in the pole vault. She qualified for the USA National Indoor and Outdoor meets from 1995-2001, and was selected to represent the US in the Nashida Cup in Japan in 2000.
After Stanford, she attended Indiana University- Mauer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana and graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2002. She started work at Freeborn and Peters LLP as an associate, then relocated to Flora Illinois and opened up Cycholl Law. Today, she owns and operates Cycholl Law PLLC in Olney and helps clients with estate planning and property transactions. She resides in Olney with her husband, Dr. Brandon Cycholl, her three children Savannah, Owen and Prairie and two golden retrievers, Bruce and Disco.

Steve Griswold
Steve Griswold is a proud graduate of the Fairfield Community High School Class of 1975. After high school, he pursued a degree in Business and Marketing and spent many years working in the supermarket industry in the area.
Steve married Rhonda Crask of Edwards County, and the two have been happily married for 47 years. They have two grown children and four granddaughters.
Throughout his life, Steve has been deeply involved in local churches—first as a volunteer and later as a staff member. He currently serves as the Lead Pastor at First Christian Church of Wayne City.
This year, Steve is honored to represent the Class of 1975 as a speaker. He looks forward to sharing memories from his time at FCHS and reflecting on life in his beloved hometown of Fairfield. He considers himself fortunate to have grown up in such a supportive community and is grateful for the many individuals who have helped shape his life and career.
As the Class of 1975 celebrates its 50th reunion, Steve extends his heartfelt thanks to all who are honoring this special milestone.
