Brian M. Foster

The FCHS Alumni Association is pleased to have Brian M. Foster speak to us about the career of his father, Jed Foster.

Professional experience

Brian will celebrate his 30th anniversary with KPMG in January 2025, a global Audit, Tax, and Advisory firm. KPMG is the 4th largest public accounting firm in the world. He is the Chief Operating Officer of the Audit Technology Organization within KPMG. Brian is also a regular speaker at internal and external conferences and symposiums regarding the use of technology in Audit.  

Civic engagement

Brian has served on a variety of community, charitable, and civic boards across Cincinnati, including Cincinnati Early Learning Centers, Dan Beard Council - Boy Scouts of America, as well as the Cincinnati European-American Chamber of Commerce, where Brian served as president for two years.  

Fairfield Community High School

Brian graduated with the Class of 1990 as their Co-Val-Victorian. He served four years as the Student Council President during his senior year. He earned nine varsity letters, earning a letter all four years in basketball. He was named to the First Team All NEC basketball and football teams for two years. Brian holds the unbroken record for receiving yardage in a single season at 657 yards. His all-time career scoring record for basketball, 2,012 points, has not been broken. In 2020, Brian was inducted into the IBCA High School Basketball Hall of Fame.

Family

Brian resides in Cincinnati with his wife of 22 years Anna (Hawkins) Foster – Class of 1996, and their two dogs, Lucy, a Labrador Retriever, and Birdie, a Golden Retriever.
